April's Experience

I always love it when a client comes back to me after their session to tell me how in love they are with their photos! It really warms my heart! It's a big part of why I love doing what I do. As a family photographer, it's such a fantastic feeling to be apart of creating happy memories for families all over Wellington. And something I know they will treasure for many years to come!

Here's April's experience, in her own words, from her newborn photo session with me back in September.

If your reading this then you are considering choosing a skilled maternity/newborn photographer. I will make this easy for you as I have done most of the research work already.

Angela is one of Wellington's best photographers in this niche and consistently so. This is important especially if you want to guarantee that your photos will come out just as great as those in the online portfolios.

Angela allowed me to visit her studio prior to my session just to get more of a feel of her style and wardrobe (as she also helps set up the mum's wardrobe and any siblings on request). She also works with a hair and makeup stylist for the mum's who are too tired or want that extra special touch. This is especially important as most mothers are struggling with sleep in the first few weeks post delivery.

She was very open to any ideas, style and poses I was wanting. The experience during the shoot was amazing. She is so good with kids (she has 2 of her own little darlings). She was still able to get a shot of my newborn with my hyper toddler who just wanted chocolate haha!!! That is skill! Not to mention her gentleness with the baby. How she was able to pose him and keep him peaceful was nothing short of a miracle.

And the photos!!! OMG was my reaction when I went to view the photos! My jaw dropped! They are ALL so beautiful!!! I can not be more pleased to have this collection of family/newborn photos to look back on :) Thanks to Angela, these moments will forever be saved. We definitely plan to return back for milestone photos :)
