For the Family Halloween set, I recommend choosing outfits in soft, neutral tones like whites, creams, and golds — they photograph beautifully and really complement the styling of the session. Green will also work very well and if you want to stand out on set - a bold Christmas red would be perfect!
Little details matter: While small skin blemishes can be easily touched up, changes to wardrobe, makeup, nails or hair are much trickier and may require extra editing (which comes with an additional fee). It’s always best to get those bits sorted beforehand — think neat nails, tidy hair, and clothes you feel great in!

Baby's First Halloween is a short and sweet way to remember and celebrate baby's very first spooky season!
Depending on what milestone your baby is at, there is a selection of Halloween backdrops to choose from for babies still happily lying on their backs. For the older babies who are sitting up, there is a special Halloween backdrop just for them!
I have a selection of cute props we can include, but have fun shopping for your own adorable outfit!
before the session - a few tips
A little bit of prep can go a long way in making your session run smoothly!
Skip the stickers: Please remove any temporary tattoos, band-aids, or anything else you wouldn’t want showing up in your final photos before you arrive.
Wipe & tidy: Wet wipes are super handy for last-minute face wipes (hello, snack crumbs!), and if your little one has long hair, clips, ponytails or headbands can help keep it off their face.
Well-rested & fed = happy photos: If your child still naps, try to time it so they’ve had a good rest beforehand. A snack or feed just before the session can also help avoid any mid-shoot hangry moments!
the day of the session
Pro tip: Got a little one who’s always on the move? That’s perfectly okay — some of the best photos come from letting kids be themselves! Instead of asking them to sit still and smile, we can keep things playful with games, cuddles, and movement to help them relax and have fun. Natural giggles and genuine moments make adorable photos!

Please arrive at your scheduled session time, ready to begin. If you arrive early, you may be asked to wait in your car if another session is still in progress. Sessions will finish at the scheduled time, even if you arrive late, to ensure I stay on time for other families. Thanks for understanding — I want to make the most of every minute we have together!
