Family life is made up of small, beautiful moments - the way your children lean into you, the laughter that bubbles up unexpectedly, the quiet in-between moments you don’t always notice until they’ve passed. These are the moments worth remembering.

As one of Wellington's most experienced family photographers, my sessions are designed to feel calm, relaxed, and unforced. There’s no expectation for children to sit still or smile on cue. Kids are free to be themselves - to move, explore, cuddle in close, or take a moment when they need it. Whether we’re together in my Tawa studio or outdoors around Wellington and Porirua, I’ll gently guide where needed and take care of the rest.

My focus is always on connection, not perfection. I capture your family as you are right now, creating timeless images that don’t just show what your family looks like, but bring you straight back to how this season of life felt.

How it works


STEP 1: RESERVE YOUR PREFERRED DATE

Secure your date with a $100 booking fee and by agreeing to the session terms—the spot in my calendar is then all yours! The remaining balance is due the day of your session.


STEP 2: PLANNING YOUR SESSION

I’ll send you a short questionnaire to help me get to know your family, your style and what matters most to you.


STEP 3: Enjoy your SESSION

Come to my cosy studio in Tawa (or another location we plan together) and simply be with your people. I’ll guide you gently, set up a relaxed flow and capture your story in a way so you can relax and enjoy the moment.


STEP 4: GALLERY DELIVERY

Around two weeks later, you’ll receive your private online gallery. You’ll have digital files to download, share and print. Ready-to-hang canvases are also available in the online store.

Do you come to our home to take photos?

All indoor sessions take place in my Tawa studio, where everything is set up and ready to go—no need to tidy your home or worry about lighting! My studio provides a comfortable, controlled environment with everything we need to create beautiful images for you.

If you’d prefer an outdoor session, I have a selection of handpicked locations around Wellington that offer natural beauty to choose from. Outdoor sessions are less about posing and more about capturing relaxed, candid moments as they naturally unfold.


Can we include our pet?

Yes, absolutely! Pets are part of the family too. Pets are more than welcome at outdoor sessions—I love capturing those special bonds with your furry family members. Just let me know ahead of time so I can choose a location that’s pet-friendly and safe for everyone.

We've booked an outdoor session - what do we do if the weather is awful?

If the weather turns wet or wild, don’t worry—we have options! I always keep backup days reserved in case we need to reschedule. Alternatively, if you'd prefer not to wait, we can move your session into my warm and cosy Tawa studio instead. I’ll be in touch the day before or morning of your session if the weather’s looking iffy, and we’ll make a plan together from there.


When will I receive my photos?

I'm just as excited for you to see your photos as you are! Once your final payment is settled, I'll carefully select and edit your images to perfection. You can expect your beautiful online gallery to be ready and delivered to your inbox within two weeks. As soon as it's ready, I'll send you a link so you can relive those special moments and download your favorites at your convenience.


What if I want prints or wall art?

You’ll get high-resolution digital files with your package—perfect for printing, sharing, or keeping safe for years to come. I’m also thrilled to offer beautiful, ready-to-hang canvases if you’d like to turn your favourite images into stunning wall art. And if you’d prefer to print your own, I can share a discount code for my favourite local print shop to help you create lovely prints, cards, calendars and more!
