There’s something incredibly special about expecting a new baby, and I was thrilled to be part of Kez’s beautiful journey as she prepares to welcome her new baby boy. Last month, we had the most stunning outdoor maternity photography session in Porirua, and I’m excited to share some highlights from that day!
The Perfect Setting: The hilltop, porirua
One of my favourite locations, this hilltop is a fantastic spot for outdoor maternity photos! With its long grass and stunning coastal views, it provides an epic backdrop that adds a touch of magic to any session. We timed Kez’s photo shoot for just before sunset, to take advantage of some beautiful golden light that compliments her gorgeous mamma glow.

This is not the first time I have been lucky enough to photograph this gorgeous flame-haired beauty - we captured Kez's last maternity portraits a few years back in a glamorous studio session. But this time, we wanted to go for something more relaxed and outdoors. The boho vibe is so different from our studio session - I love how each baby bump will have its own unique memories!
